The most valuable tool (person) to help navigate the transition to assisted living!

Caroline is simply the most treasured tool anyone could have when transitioning to independent living, assisted living, memory care or most importantly “preparing” for the next stage in life’s journey.
I am an agent and Registered Representative specializing in retirement planning, estate planning and overall financial guidance. I have a designation of CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care Planning), so I help folks financially prepare for their long term care needs. Even when someone has done an excellent job of financially preparing, I have found that no one is prepared to actually navigate that transition whether it is yourself, a spouse, or a parent. One may have the money in place to pay for care, but to go through the claim process if one is fortunate enough to have insurance in place or fortunate enough to self pay is when having all the help one can have is paramount. Caroline knows the ropes and can help you know the right questions to ask – to walking through what to expect with you or your loved one. One of the most precious times was when Caroline helped an adult child when their parent had developed dementia and the adult child contacted Caroline early on in the diagnosis. By contacting Caroline before the disease had progressed, the parent had such an easy transition to assisted living because Caroline talked with all parties sharing stories of the positive outcomes she has seen when folks do not wait too long to “transition” to that next journey, because sometimes what we think is a good thing by keeping our loved ones at home for as long as possible can be the worst thing for them in the long run. Caroline and Preparing for Care is without a question one of the most important parts of planning!!
