Senior Professional of the Year

Caroline Scranton Bell has been awarded the 2014 Senior Services Professional of the Year Award from All About Seniors.  She was presented the award on Thursday at the 7th Annual All About Seniors Caregiver Awards dinner and awards presentation produced by Striped Rock Senior Network Marketing & Media Solutions.

Bell is the founder of Preparing for Care LLC, whose goal is to assist Seniors, their adult children, and the employers of the adult children with preparing for this

She provides education, support services, and guidance, helping children and parents prepare themselves in advance for the different stages of the aging process.  She leverages her experience and research to show her clients the many benefits available to them and the ways in which they can save money in this process, with the goal of “aging gracefully, with dignity and respect”.

Caroline is especially interested in helping seniors age with their pets, and volunteers with the Oconee Animal Rescue and Lost Dog Sanctuary. She also volunteers with the  Alzheimer’s Association and takes her Canine Good Citizenship dog, Cindy Lou Who  to visit her clients and as well as other seniors living in assisted living communities and nursing homes. She recently joined efforts with Oconee Rescue to start a “senior loan program” for senior’s dog to be placed into seniors homes for as long as they can care for them.  She is also a member of the Anderson County Women’s Club.

Caroline was awarded the Caregiver of the Year award by in 2010.

As Vice President of Business Development for Diners Club North America, American Express Travel Related Services Corporation, Caroline developed a reputation for building strategic relationships.  She is two time winner of Presidential Service Award, Best Marketing Award Winner, and Master Award for outstanding achievement, Most Valuable Player and Star Performer Award.
