She provides education, support services, and guidance, helping children and parents prepare themselves in advance for the different stages of the aging process. She leverages her experience and research to show her clients the many benefits available to them and the ways in which they can save money in this process, with the goal of “aging gracefully, with dignity and respect”.
Caroline is especially interested in helping seniors age with their pets, and volunteers with the Oconee Animal Rescue and Lost Dog Sanctuary. She also volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association and takes her Canine Good Citizenship dog, Cindy Lou Who to visit her clients and as well as other seniors living in assisted living communities and nursing homes. She recently joined efforts with Oconee Rescue to start a “senior loan program” for senior’s dog to be placed into seniors homes for as long as they can care for them. She is also a member of the Anderson County Women’s Club.
Caroline was awarded the Caregiver of the Year award by Parentgiving.com in 2010.
